The SPEAK OUT!® Therapy Program, developed by Parkinson Voice Project®, helps people with Parkinson’s and related neurological disorders regain and retain their speech and swallowing. This highly effective, evidence-based treatment combines education, individual and group speech therapy, daily home practice, and continuous follow-ups. Patients are empowered to “speak with INTENT,” transitioning speech from an automatic function to an intentional act.
Hello, I’m Courtney! I founded Champion Speech Therapy LLC to provide friendly and relationship based speech therapy services to adults who are experiencing changes with memory, attention, speech, word finding, voice, and swallowing. I take pride in providing compassionate and empowering therapy services. I believe education is key in quality therapy and enjoy teaching and collaborating with patients and their families. I have 10 years of experience in a variety of settings including outpatient rehab, skilled nursing, home health, and hospitals.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Appalachian State University and a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Florida.
I am a Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Therapist, licensed SPEAK OUT! provider, and a certified member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). ​
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, golfing, crafting, and spending time with my family and pets.
