Cognitive and Aphasia Groups

Aphasia Group

Individuals have a lot to communicate! Join us at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm the 1st Tuesday of every month for communication exercises and activities, strategy training, education, and support for aphasia. This group is a great choice for people who have suffered a stroke, traumatic brain injury, brain tumor, dementia, and any others with aphasia or communication difficulty.

Cognitive Therapy Group

Join us on the 2nd Tuesday of every month 11:00 am - 12:00 pm for cognitive exercises, education, and support for cognitive impairment. Socialize with others, hear their stories and strategies, and learn something new! This group is a great choice for people who have mild cognitive impairment, dementia, Parkinson's disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury, brain tumor or infection, or any others with cognitive impairment.

No physician referral required for group attendance. Free and open to the public. If you are also receiving individual speech therapy with Champion Speech Therapy LLC, group treatment will be added to the plan of treatment and insurance will be billed.
